The 37th Annual TRETA Conference held in Bryan, Texas was a hit! We had nearly 100 members in attendance representing all over Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and even Arizona!
The Thursday CREI Renewal workshop on Thursday led by our new Lifetime Member Len Elder was an excellent session where members learned new interactive learning methods for presenting in the classroom and really staying engaged with your audience.
The speaker line-up on Friday was action packed. We learned about the status of the economy, teaching tips for online learning, learning more about our website, better preparation for your classroom presentations, and what is going on with the Real Estate Center, TREC, and Texas Savings & Mortgage Lending Dept. That evening, many members ventured to the Messina Hof Winery for a special wine tasting session and a fantastic dinner.
On Saturday, we had a wonderful CREI breakfast with lots of renewals, the induction of a new CREI, and the honoring of some longstanding CREIs. This was followed by the to the point presentations of the Mortgage Market Update and the Legal Update to close our conference.
Next year’s conference will be in Dallas, Texas. More details to follow so stay tuned!
